We love a single speed bike, but we understand that there are people out there that need a bit of gearing to help with the occasional hill. Our solution is the Shimano Nexus 7 speed hub with a coaster brake. The seven 'trigger-shift' gears will get you up and over the steepest incline without blowing a gasket, but the neat 'in-hub' mechanism keep the lovely, clean Quella look and keeps maintenance to a minimum. The coaster brake means one less cable to keep things uncluttered and is a great way to take speed off fast.
