Our 'Courier' range utilises bull horn style bars which suit a more sports/aggressive riding style.  If you prefer are more upright/easy riding style then check-out our 'Classic' model with riser style handlebars.

The Nero range are our best-selling entry level bikes, super dependable, sturdy and simple.  All Neros are built around a highly durable diamond-form frame with our signature Deep-V wheelset.  The strong but pliable high tensile steel frame is able to absorb the bumps and lumps of our city roads making for a comfortable ride and the simple componentry is virtually maintenance free save for a wash and a spot of oil from time to time.  All Neros are built with a 'flip-flop' hub fitted with a fixed-gear sprocket on one side and a single speed freewheel on the other so you can choose between riding fixie or a simple single speed.  The 44/16 gear ratio provides a great balance between acceleration and top-speed and is perfect for city riding.

Brilliant City Bike - Tough to Set Up

Bought this as my first bike to get back into cycling and chose a single gear hybrid as I hate maintenance and I’ve been having to maintain this bike more than expected but possibly my fault. The set-up wasn’t properly explained in the tutorial they provided so had to go externally to get it fully set up but once it’s been set up it’s brilliant. Perfect for city riding, weaving in and out of people, and once you build up to speed it’s a great ride.

As it's been your fist bike for a while we would always recommend the use of a professional bike builder to assist you. We do offer an online tutorial for setting up our single speed which is very straight forward and simple and has very positive reviews rather than a manual. I'm not sure where the issue lay here as teh geared bike comes with the rear wheel set-up and attached? Again if it's been your first biek in a while best to get the experts doing this for you. Also, we're always on hand to help if you have any questions when DIY building our bikes.
