How much of the bike will I need to assemble? Your bike will arrive packaged and ‘85% assembled’. All you need to do is put the front wheel on, the pedals, handlebars, drop the seat post into the opening and tighten all the bolts. We advise that you get your bike checked out by a professional just to make absolutely sure you are safe on the roads.
What tools will I need to assemble my bike? All the tools you need will be supplied with your bike.
What is the difference between fixed gear and single speed? A fixed gear or ‘fixie’ as they are more commonly known, is is the definition of a bike where the rear cog is fixed directly to the hub, meaning that if your wheels are rotating then so are your pedals. Riding in fixed gear means you cannot coast like on a standard bike. A single-speed bike rides much like your traditional bike with only one gear. The beauty of our bikes with the “flip-flop” hub means you can switch between the two at anytime.
Should I ride ‘fixed gear’ or ‘single-speed’? This is entirely up to you. We would suggest that if you haven’t ridden ‘fixed gear’ before you try it out first in single-speed and get used to the feel of the bike before hitting the open road in fixed-gear, as it has a very different feeling to riding in single-speed and takes a while to get used to.
What Credit cards do you accept? We accept all major Credit cards and all payments are carried out securely via PayPal.
How long will my bike take to arrive? All ‘off-the-shelf’ bikes have 2 days handling time in order for us to build them and then rigurously check all of the components. We aim to get your bike to you within 3 days using Parcel Force and we will supply you with your very own tracking number to keep check on your purchase.
What is your return and warranty policy? All Quella bikes carry a one-year warranty on the frame and fork against defects, construction flaws, and craftsmanship to the original owner from the date of purchase. All components are covered for sixty days. So please be reassured that if your bike is not to the standard that you expect we will be more than happy to supply you with a replacement. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with anything you have purchased from us, we want to hear about it. Tell us what the problem is and how we can fix it.
